I was recently sent 5 packs of pampers new baby sensitive nappies size 2 to try out with Prof J. I was really pleased when I got my pack of nappies.

It’s amazing how much you forget about taking care of a baby especially when your first baby is now four years old. Thankfully Prof J has been a very easy baby to deal with. He is getting close to 4 months now, how time flies! He has become more curious with his environment and always has a smile on his face…well except for when he is hungry or sleepy.

I have tried several nappies as this is one big area for me when it comes to baby care.  Considering babies are in nappies 24/7, my choice of nappy is one that won’t cause rashes and will contain baby’s business IN and not OUT of the nappy.

Imagine giving a 3 month old baby a wipe down in a public toilet. No fun at all.

So I was very happy to try out Pampers new baby sensitive nappies when I got them to see if they passed my simple criteria.

According to pampers’ website, the Pampers New Baby Sensitive nappy provides “unbeatable protection for delicate newborn skin. They combine both dryness and softness and contain up to 50% more skin-care ingredients* and a touch of aloe. While New Baby Sensitive nappies are clinically tested to be mild on newborn’s skin, the super soft fabric offers an all around softness and creates a comfortable and snug feeling.

WOW I must say I have found the above statement true. I love the feel of these nappies and the exciting part is that I have experienced less leakages with this nappy. In fact I am inclined to say the few times (1 out of every 5 times) we have experienced leakages, Prof J did a really big explosive one. Lol.

Also in fairness rashes has never been an issue for us so far and I am glad to say these set of pampers new baby sensitive nappies have also been good to Prof J’s bottom. 🙂

Like I said before I have tried out many nappies and so far the Pampers New Baby Sensitive nappy has been a winner.  We use i both day and night and no issues so far. It is sad though that these only come in size 1 and size 2. So I will definitely make the best use of the ones I have.

The best part of it all, is that in the early days it may be hard to know if your baby has a dry or wet nappy especially if it isn’t soaking wet. Pampers have been kind enough to include a dry (yellow line) and wet (blue line) indicator as shown in the pictures. It was my health visitor that brought this to my attention and I am glad she did as I doubt I would have figured that one on my own.
